How to plan consistent graphics across a mixed fleet
Use one brand system and a separate approved layout for each vehicle body. Stretching the same artwork onto different vans and trucks can move critical lettering into doors, hardware or areas with poor visibility.

Build the vehicle inventory first
List the year, make, model, wheelbase or body configuration, existing graphics and unit identifier for each vehicle. Photograph both sides and the rear. A high-roof van and a standard-roof van should not be treated as the same production file.
Separate brand rules from vehicle layouts
Set the logo proportions, colors, type hierarchy and preferred contact detail once. Then approve the position and scale on each body style. Decide whether a unit number or service division belongs in a replaceable area so routine operational changes do not require redoing the whole design.
Create a rollout and replacement record
Start with an agreed first vehicle before scheduling the rest. Record approved artwork, coverage, installation date and product-specific care instructions per unit. Ask how replacements will be ordered and what photographs the shop needs after a panel repair. Confirm downtime individually with the person dispatching the fleet.
Compare the options.
Single body style
Repeated layouts after the first approval
Check: Model-year and body differences
Mixed fleet
Shared identity with several production layouts
Check: Readable hierarchy on each vehicle
Phased rollout
Keeping part of the fleet operational
Check: Approval sequence and drop-off schedule
