Restaurant & café storefront signs and window graphics
Help a first-time guest recognize the entrance.
Restaurant signage needs to work along the guest’s approach: recognizing the business, finding the door and confirming useful information before entering. Review daytime and evening conditions and separate permanent identity from content that will change with a promotion or menu.
Make the entrance obvious
Photograph the frontage from the parking area and both directions along the walkway. Discuss a wall sign for frontal views and a blade sign for an along-the-sidewalk approach. Keep door graphics readable without competing with the business name.
Preserve the view you want
Decide which panes should show the dining room and which can carry graphics. A full-window promotion, simple hours lettering and a privacy treatment answer different needs. Include seating positions and interior views in the brief.
Plan for changing information
Keep hours, temporary offers and pickup directions in areas that can be updated independently. Confirm who approves wording and how future changes will be ordered. For leased premises, obtain the property’s sign criteria before committing to a layout.
